The start…

Hi, I’m Luke Brackney, and this is a little bit about my journey and the businesses I’ve had the opportunity to build. I’m the youngest of seven siblings and have been blessed with an amazing family that has supported and encouraged me along the way. I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunities God has given me to pursue my goals, grow my skills, and turn the things I enjoy into something meaningful.

 

My DJ business started in September of 2023 when a family friend asked me to play music at their wedding. The event went extremely well, and afterward, I realized how much I enjoyed being a part of creating a great experience for people. That is what sparked my interest in starting my own DJ business.

 

After countless hours of brainstorming, learning, watching YouTube videos, and figuring things out as I went, I decided to give it a try. What started as a simple hobby slowly grew into something much bigger. Over time, I worked to create something that stood out from the typical DJ experience. From weddings and proms to birthday parties and other events, I have always tried to make every event feel special, memorable, and unique. My goal has always been to be creative, passionate, thoughtful, and flexible while working with each client to create the experience they are looking for.

 

In 2025, I started my second business, Twinkle Pro Knox, from my passion for creating professional Christmas light displays and helping homes and businesses stand out during the holiday season. The business had a very successful first year, and since then, I have continued to grow and improve the services I offer. Twinkle Pro Knox is now licensed and insured, allowing me to provide professional and dependable holiday lighting services for both residential and commercial properties.

 

Brackney Brothers Lawn Care is a residential and commercial landscaping business started by my oldest brothers. We provide a variety of landscaping services, including mowing, mulching, waterscapes, leaf removal, blowing, trimming, and more. Our goal is simple: provide dependable service and help our customers keep their properties looking their best.

 

BXE – Brackney Exclusive Entertainment is my newest business, created to provide event rental services for weddings, parties, and other special events. I offer a growing selection of rental equipment and plan to continue expanding the business in the future. My goal with BXE is to help bring each client’s vision to life while providing reliable equipment, flexibility, and exceptional customer service.

 

Videography is another passion of mine that I enjoy pursuing in my spare time. I have worked on a variety of projects, from large conference recap videos to church introductions and promotional content. I enjoy the creative process of filming, editing, and turning an idea into something people can experience and remember.

 

Above everything else, my faith is an important part of who I am and how I try to run each of these businesses. I believe in God, and I strive to treat people the way Jesus would—with kindness, honesty, patience, and a willingness to help however I can. Whether I’m working with a customer, helping with an event, or simply talking with someone, I want the way I work and treat others to reflect my faith. I also hope to encourage others in their own faith and be a positive example through the way I live and serve people.

 

Through all of these businesses and projects, my goal is to continue learning, improving, serving others, and using the opportunities God has given me in the best way I can. I’m excited to see where these opportunities lead and what I’ll be able to create next.
